The Procurement and Supply Chain Management Department of Accra Technical University has successfully concluded its departmental elections with an impressive 1,173 students casting their votes, according to Stephen Sarpong, the Electoral Commission (E.C) Chairperson.

In his post-election address, Mr. Sarpong confirmed that the polls were conducted in a peaceful, fair, and transparent manner, with no incidents of violence or disruptions recorded.
“This election was a clear demonstration of student maturity and unity. The entire process—from voting to counting—was smooth and well-coordinated,” he said.

Official results from the election have now been released by the EC Chairperson, declaring the winners of the various positions within the department. The elected candidates are expected to assume office soon and steer the affairs of the department’s student body for the next academic year.
Mr. Sarpong thanked all students for their participation and encouraged continued support for the new leadership as they work to represent and serve the interests of the department.
