According to the information I picked from other media houses, this year’s statistics show a worrying decline in performance across the core subjects.

131,097 students (30.27%) failed English Language
220,008 students (50.54%) failed Core Mathematics
161,606 students (39.87%) failed Integrated Science
196,727 students (44%) failed Social Studies
These figures have started a big conversation nationwide as many express concern about the growing rate of failure among candidates.
As part of my report, I, Richmond Bediako (Kiddojunior), monitored reactions from students, teachers, and education analysts. Many believe the results should serve as a wake-up call for both students and stakeholders to re-evaluate the system, teaching methods, and preparation strategies.
WAEC has also advised candidates to start checking their results online as the portal is officially open. You can check your results on the official WAEC website: https://www.waecgh.org
