ATU Opens 2026/2027 Admissions; Applicants Urged to Apply Early

Accra Technical University (ATU) has officially opened admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year, according to information published on the university’s official platforms.

The announcement highlights a wide range of academic programmes and flexible application options for prospective students across the country.

From checks made on ATU’s official website and admission portals, the university continues to offer programmes under its major faculties, including Engineering, Built Environment, Applied Sciences, Applied Arts, and Business.

Programmes Available

Applicants can choose from several programmes, including:

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science and Analytics, Marketing, and Renewable Energy Technology.
• Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in areas like Mechanical Engineering, Accountancy, Marketing, and Computer Science.
• Diploma programmes including Public Relations, Business Administration, and Information Technology.
• Master’s degree programmes in fields such as Data Science, Construction Project Management, and Marketing Strategy.

Entry Requirements

Information gathered indicates that WASSCE applicants must have at least six passes (A1–D7), including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies, with a minimum of three credits (C6 or better).

Mature applicants, who must be at least 25 years old, will be required to pass an entrance examination.

HND graduates applying for top-up programmes must have at least a Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant field.
