The release comes at a crucial time for candidates preparing to take the next step in their academic journey, particularly those seeking admission to universities, colleges of education, technical universities and other tertiary institutions.

How to Check the 2026 WASSCE Results

Candidates can check their results online through the official WAEC Ghana Results Checker.

Where to Get the WASSCE Results Checker Voucher

Candidates who do not already have a results-checking voucher will need to obtain one before accessing their results online.

The voucher provides the Serial Number and PIN required on the WAEC results portal.

For candidates purchasing a voucher through a mobile phone, the *713*3998# service has been identified as a channel for purchasing or retrieving a WASSCE/NovDec Results Checker voucher. Candidates should carefully follow the prompts and retain their voucher details after purchase.

The voucher details should be kept private because they are required to access the candidate’s examination results.

Results May Take Time to Load

With a large number of candidates attempting to access their results at the same time, the WAEC results portal may experience heavy traffic.

Candidates whose results do not immediately load are advised to remain patient and try again after some time rather than assuming that there is a problem with their results.

They should also ensure that the index number, examination year, voucher serial number and PIN have been entered correctly.

Candidates Should Beware of Fraudsters

Candidates are advised to be cautious of individuals or websites claiming they can upgrade, alter or change WASSCE results for a fee.

The safest way to access the results is through the official WAEC platform.

Candidates should also avoid sharing their voucher PIN and other confidential examination details with strangers.

What Next After Checking Your Results?

Candidates who have successfully accessed their results should save or print a copy for their records.

Those planning to apply for tertiary education should also begin checking the admission requirements of their preferred institutions and programmes.

The release of the 2026 WASSCE results is expected to allow prospective tertiary students to proceed with applications that require their final examination results.
