According to the Students Loan Trust Fund, payment arrangements depend on the type of assistance provided.
Under the Bridge Financing arrangement announced on October 5, 2026, eligible students who cannot afford their admission fee deposit may apply for financial assistance.
Once approved, the SLTF pays the required deposit directly to the student’s institution to help secure admission.
Students should understand that this arrangement does not involve sending the admission deposit directly to their personal mobile money or bank account.
Under previous No Academic Fees arrangements, eligible students who had already paid their academic fees could receive reimbursements following verification.
However, students should wait for official confirmation of the reimbursement arrangements and payment schedules applicable to the 2026/2027 academic year.
