This marks the first time in ATU’s history that an SRC handing-over ceremony has been halted due to legal action. The petition, which seeks to challenge the integrity of the SRC election process, has cast a shadow over the recent elections and put a stop to the transition of leadership until the matter is resolved.
“It is deeply regrettable that as a Council, we have allowed election fraud and over-voting to occur, thereby casting doubt on the integrity of the ATU SRC electoral process,” said by EDMOND SARPONG ASARE a communication officer
The case is now under legal review, with many students and stakeholders awaiting the court’s decision on the validity of the election results.
