From the information I gathered personally, the University is encouraging all students to carefully follow the steps, make their payments on time and complete every stage on the student portal without delay. Hostel rooms are given on a first-come first-served basis, so early payment and early booking are very important.
Step by Step Process for ATU Hostel Application 2025/2026
1. Pay Your Full School Fees
Before applying for a hostel, students must make sure they have paid their full school fees through any of the approved options:
Bank of Africa
Fidelity Bank
Access Bank
Mobile shortcode: 840100#
2. Log In to the Student Portal
Students should log into the official ATU student portal using this link:
https://icampus.atu.edu.gh
3. First Year Students Must Create Login Credentials
If you are a new student, you must create your login details before accessing the portal. Follow these steps:
- Visit https://icampus.atu.edu.gh
- Click on NEW STUDENT
- Fill the form with your Student ID from your bank payment slip, a password, your email address and answers to your selected security questions
- Click Create Account and then log in
4. Select Your Hostel
After logging in, choose your preferred hostel and select the room type available for your gender
5. Select Your Room and Pay Within 24 Hours
Once you choose a room, you must make the payment within 24 hours using:
Bank of Africa
Fidelity Bank
Access Bank
Mobile shortcode: 840100#
If you fail to pay within the 24-hour period, the system will automatically release the room
6. Download and Submit Your Tenancy Agreement
After your payment has been confirmed:
- Download the tenancy agreement
- Print and sign it
- Submit it to the hostel porters to complete the registration process
