Prospective undergraduate students seeking admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for the 2026/2027 academic year have been informed that applications for Regular Undergraduate programmes for Ghanaian WASSCE applicants are still ongoing.

According to the latest information provided to applicants, there is currently no deadline for Ghanaian WASSCE applicants under the Regular Undergraduate category.
The application portal is expected to remain open until the 2026 WASSCE results are officially released, after which further admission arrangements for this category may be communicated.
However, applicants under other admission categories have a different deadline. The deadline for Mature, Top-Up, International and Foreign WASSCE applicants was Monday, August 31, 2026.
Prospective students applying through the Ghanaian WASSCE Regular Undergraduate category are therefore encouraged to monitor official KNUST admission channels for updates and ensure that their applications are completed correctly while the portal remains open.
Applicants should also note that the continued availability of the portal for Ghanaian WASSCE applicants does not mean other admission categories have received an extension
