Following the release of the 2026 WASSCE results, prospective students seeking admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have been advised to carefully check their results and programme requirements before making their choices.

For admission consideration, applicants must have A1 to C6 in English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science, as well as credits in three relevant elective subjects. Applicants must also meet the required aggregate for their chosen programme.
Candidates should note that D7, E8 and F9 are not accepted as credit passes for the required subjects.
Applicants are also encouraged to choose programmes that match their elective subjects. Having a good aggregate does not guarantee admission if the applicant does not meet the subject requirements for the programme.
Previous cut-off points should also be treated as a guide and not a guarantee of admission, as competition and available spaces may vary from year to year.
Applicants who have results from more than one WASSCE sitting should carefully follow KNUST’s guidelines on the combination and submission of results.
