The Ghana National Union of Technical Students (GNUTS), representing all technical universities in Ghana, alongside the GNUTS Ambassador of Accra Technical University (ATU), played a pivotal role in organizing a thrilling games event on the ATU campus. This initiative brought together students from various faculties to compete in different sporting activities, fostering unity and school spirit.

The GNUTS leadership, including Research and Education Officer Emmanuel Akuffo, National Treasurer Osman Alhassan, and National Public Relations Officer Mustapha Abdul Basit, worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. Their collaboration with the ATU GNUTS Ambassador helped create an exciting and well-organized competition that students enthusiastically participated in.

The event featured intense matches across various disciplines, with the most outstanding teams receiving prizes and certificates. The atmosphere was electric as students showcased their skills and passion for sports.
“We are thrilled with the success of the games event,” said Emmanuel Akuffo. “It was a team effort, and we appreciate everyone who supported us. We look forward to organizing more of such initiatives to promote student engagement across technical universities.”
Both the university authorities and students commended the GNUTS executives and ATU’s GNUTS Ambassador for their dedication and commitment to student development. This event stands as a testament to the power of student leadership in promoting extracurricular activities and strengthening the technical university community.

With such a successful outcome, students are hopeful for more engaging events in the future, further solidifying GNUTS’ role in enhancing student life across Ghana’s technical universities.
