A level 100 student from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has sadly taken his own life after seeing his girlfriend with another boy in her hostel room.
According to reports, the boy went to visit his girlfriend but caught her sleeping with another guy. Shocked and heartbroken, he fainted on the spot.
“He just stood there and collapsed. We never thought he would go and kill himself,” said a student who witnessed the incident.
The next day, news broke that the young man had hanged himself.
This sad incident has left many students in shock and pain. Some are calling for more help on campus for students who are struggling emotionally or mentally.
