From checks and complaints from students, the delay is mostly due to small mistakes and processing issues.
Main Reasons for the Delay
Wrong Details
Some students entered names, index numbers, or Ghana Card details that do not match their school records. This makes it difficult for the system to verify them.
Wrong Mobile Money Number
Others also entered wrong MoMo numbers or used numbers not registered in their own name, so payments could not go through.
Incomplete Application
Some students did not finish all the steps during registration, so their application is still pending.
Verification Still Ongoing
Because many students applied, some applications are still under review.
System Delays
There are also technical issues slowing down the payment process.
