Students and lecturers from universities like KNUST, the University of Ghana, and the University of Cape Coast have actively joined the fight against illegal mining, also known as ‘galamsey.’ In a trending social media post, attention has shifted to other tertiary institutions, calling for their involvement in the battle.
“The Twitter boys can’t win this fight alone! KNUST students have joined, Legon lecturers too, and even UCC students. What about the rest of the universities? Accra Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Ho Technical University, and Koforidua Technical University—what are you waiting for?” the post questioned.
With a humorous twist, it also mentioned the readiness of KNUST’s Katanga Hall. “Katanga is ready, by the way! Imagine all of us getting captured by the police and placed in one cell. We’ll spoil the place for sure!” it joked.
The post concludes with a powerful call to action for all universities and students, including those from Accra Technical University, to rise and join the national effort. The message highlights that when students from every institution band together, they can make a significant impact in fighting galamsey and protecting the environment.
“Let’s not leave the fight to a few—we all have a role. Accra Technical University, are you in? Let’s make history together!”
That’s a worthy and heavenly backup battle to fight. If others won’t join, the force of God’s angles are with the few of us to be a great army to devour such a satanic and devilish act in our society, communities and nations. I sending a very strong and deadly warning ⚠️ to those satanic and occultic politicians behind the scenes…. get ready for death!!!
